Education professionals come to the congress to learn and share trends and best practices in professional and technical education and training. The congress is attended by more than 600 delegates from over 50 countries and six continents.

The 2018 congress will be an influential gathering held at a time of rapid change in the international economy. This includes advances being made in digitalisation and automation, on-going globalisation of markets and supply-chains and the emergence of new industries and jobs while others decline.
