Tulips Meetings Management, TDA and the WFCP reserves the right to deny entry and/or terminate the registration of any person who demonstrates behaviour that the organisers deem to be inappropriate and/or a risk to others.


Each registered delegate will receive a Congress satchel when collecting their name badge from the registration desk on arrival at the Congress.


All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include 10% GST.


An attendee list will be supplied to all attendees including exhibitors and partners. If you do not wish to have your details on the delegate list, please ensure you indicate this when registering.


Please note any dietary requirements when registering for the Congress. All dietary requirements will be forwarded to the applicable venues.


All details are correct at the time of publication. All best endeavours will be made to present the program as printed on this website. The Congress and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the Congress, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. The Organising Committee and the Congress Organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration.

The organisers shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the conference where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The term “Force Majeure” means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the organisers including but not limited to War, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, natural disasters, Acts or Regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. The organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the conference despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Organising Committee and the Congress Organisers do not accept responsibility for loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The Congress does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft or damage to belongings.

Opinions expressed by authors in their abstracts and during their presentations are personal and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the Organising Committee, TDA and the WFCP.


TDA and the WFCP commits to provide a balanced and objective educational program.


The dress code throughout the Congress is neat casual. The dress code for each function is indicated in the function description on the Social Program page.


Unauthorised photography, audio taping, video recording, digital taping or any other form of duplication is strictly prohibited in Congress sessions.


The electrical supply is 240 volts, 50Hz. The connection for appliances is a flat 3-pin plug of unique design. Most hotels provide 110 volt outlets for shavers.


The exhibition will be located on Level 1 of the Melbourne Convention Centre and will be open on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 October, 2018.


The Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a broad-based ten percent tax included in the shelf price of most Australian goods and services. The Tourist Refund Scheme allows international travellers to claim a GST refund (subject to certain conditions) on goods purchased in Australia. The refund only applies to items worn or goods taken on board as hand luggage when leaving the country.

Travellers to Australia need a valid passport or similar certificate of identification. Everyone, except travellers with Australian and New Zealand passports, requires a visa. You may ask your travel agent for advice or to have them organise your visa.

The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out personal insurance, including cover for travel, accommodation, medical, registration fees and personal possessions. Neither TDA, the WFCP nor Tulips Meetings Management covers individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the Congress or for theft or damage to belongings.


In the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters, TDA, the WFCP and Tulips Meetings Management cannot accept responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by the delegates.

Nor can TDA, the WFCP and Tulips Meetings Management take responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property occurring during the Congress or associated activities. Insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate.


A message board will be located near the registration desk. Please check here for all Congress updates and messages as they will not be personally delivered.


Delegates are asked to set their mobile phones and devices to silent when in sessions.


Name badges will be issued when registering on-site at the Congress. For security purposes the Congress name badge must be worn at all times during the Congress and social functions. Entry may be denied if no name badge is displayed. For those attending an Affinity Group Workshop on Monday 8 October, your name badge will be taken to the venue of your Affinity Group and you will not need to register at the Convention Centre before the Affinity Group. If you are no longer able to attend the Affinity Group session, please contact us.


By registering and / or attending this event, you acknowledge that the details supplied by you may be made available to TDA, the WFCP and the venue (for the purposes of conference options only). Tulips Meetings Management on behalf of TDA and WFCP will gather and record personal information necessary for your attendance at the Congress. Personal information will be gathered, stored and disseminated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles.


Every endeavour has been made to produce an accurate program. The program is correct at time of printing. The conference organisers reserve the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary.


The registration desk will be located on the ground level of the Melbourne Convention Centre near the main entrance on Monday 8 October. On Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 October, it will be located on level 1 adjacent to the exhibition.


Please ensure that you take all items of value with you at all times when leaving a room. Do not leave bags or laptop computers unattended.


All Congress and social functions are non-smoking.


Please note any special requirements for example mobility or sight, when registering for the Congress. All special requirements will be forwarded to the applicable venues.
