A message from the Chair, World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics
Lead the debate, Connect globally, Broaden your horizons
The Congress of the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP) in October 2018 in Australia is the opportunity for you and your college to take the next step in preparing your students for the future.
How will automation and technology shape the workplace of the future? What are the new skills graduates will need to succeed in life? How do we ensure no one is left behind? How does my college adapt?
Skills for the Future, Now is the key message of the WFCP 2018 World Congress.
The program is designed for polytechnic and college leaders (administrators and faculty). Hear from world renowned thought leaders, help shape the debate on new-order skills through the World Congress Leadership Institute, shape WFCP policy through Affinity Group workshops on a wide range of topics and visit some of Australia’s leading colleges.
The WFCP represents publicly established community colleges and polytechnics across developed and developing countries, including Technical and Further Education (TAFEs) in Australia, and is the largest coordinated global network of institutions delivering technical, professional education and training.
Held once every two years, the WFCP World Congress attracts more than 600 delegates from over 50 countries and six continents.
It is the opportunity for deep professional development and for establishing connections around the globe.
The 2018 World Congress is endorsed and supported by your national association.
Take advantage of the new financial year and book in to the Congress today.
Don’t miss this great opportunity! Participate in the global discussion about the future of work. Help lead the debate about new-order skills and the knowledge needed to keep your college at the forefront of teaching and learning.
I look forward to seeing you down under.
